USB Pollen Blocker – a New Line of Defense in the War Against Allergies

usb pollen blocker in use

Spring in the air makes me miserable. Itchy, watery eyes, sneezing, sore throat, the whole nine yards. Lucky for me the boys at Thanko have devised a product to help combat this menace, the USB Pollen Blocker. Desperate times demand desperate measures, eh?

It’s not pretty, but neither are seasonal allergies so I’ll take looking silly over being miserable. The hood resembles a cross between a beekeeper’s mask and a hazmat suit. The Pollen Blocker is able to keep out 99.9% of pores, and even though it looks like you’re starring in a Hollywood disaster movie, it’s probably an apt look considering protection from allergies is a war in and of itself.

To keep it from getting stuffy, it’s got a USB powered fan with two speeds at the top which thankfully runs fairly quietly so it won’t distract you from your work. If you’re asking why you would need this product inside (where one would presumably be able to hook it up to a USB port) then you clearly do not suffer from hay fever. Pollen is insidious. It gets everywhere. The instructions are in Japanese but the product is pretty self-explanatory. For $60 safety from the spring menace can be yours.
