Sony Smart Tennis Sensor – your personal pocket-sized tennis coach

Need someone to gauge the power in your back-hand shot, or check the effectiveness of your slice shot? Unless you hire a professional tennis coach, you’re on your own and no one will be shouting at you from the sidelines to correct your form or posture. Hiring a professional trainer can be a big blow to your budget but buying a digital coach on the other hand is definitely more affordable.

A coach like the Sony Smart Tennis Sensor. This small gadget attaches to your racquet and records data about all your shots. No more worrying about your topspin or smash because this device will give you accurate and detailed information regarding all your shots. Good and bad.

The keychain-sized sensor attaches to the bottom of your racquet and collects all the necessary data which can also be linked to your gameplay video. All data is displayed in real-time on your smartphone via Bluetooth connectivity. You can even share it with your friends to let them know how good you’re at the sport. The Sony Smart Tennis Sensor will be available for $200 by the end of January 2015.
