Safari TV iPad Stand – turn your iPad into beautifully recycled retro

safaritvipadstand

There are a million iPad stands out there for a million different lifestyles but the Safari TV is a cute and nicely green eco way to add a little whimsy and fun to your everyday. What’s more it’s got heaps more style than you’ll find in most of these plastic and chrome alternatives you find on the market.

Safari TV is made from recycled cardboard and modeled to look like a retro TV. You know the kind, with the dials and antenna that you had to wrap tin foil around to get a good picture? Fortunately, as long as your Wi-Fi is strong, you should have no problem streaming Netflix on this. This do-it-yourself stand is super easy to put together and will have you ready to go in a matter of minutes. It also leaves slots open for your camera, headphones, volume controls, etc.

Oddly enough the stand isn’t suitable for children under the edge of 14 due to its killer edges (who would have thought?), although even at that age you’ll probably have to explain what TV used to look like back in the stone ages before flat screens and remotes. Safari TV is compatible with iPad, iPad Air, and iPad Air 2. It is $30.
