Do you carry around a wallet? A lot of guys do. Bet you also have a phone in your pocket too. With a battery that won’t last the whole day. Well now some design wonks have come up with a combination product which embeds a phone charger inside a wallet. It’s either brilliant, or completely stupid, and we’re not totally sure what yet.

The SEYVR Phone Charging Wallet is made of premium brown or black cowhide leather – it says here – and can hold 6 credit or transit cards, cash and bits like receipts. It also – ta-da – contains a 1400mAh battery pack which is 6.4mm thick, and can charge up your iPhone when it runs down.

The Norwegian developers have limited the product to just the iPhone for some strange reason, when all it would take is a quick adapter change to make it universal, but hey, you know how crazy those Scandies are when it comes to business decisions. We think that even so, it’s an interesting product, which could end up in quite a few fireplace stockings this holiday. Priced at $91.26 / £59.95.
