Break Beam Alert – give your home some James Bond perimeter ‘laser’ beam protection

Do you find yourself constantly looking out of the window to see if a skateboarder is parked on your lawn? Worried sick about the encroaching horde of polar bears in your garden? Well then fret no longer, patient warrior, for we have located the solution to your sleepless nights.

The Break Beam Alert offers nothing less than some of that super sweet high tech infrared beam stuff that is so awesome when Tom Cruise is avoiding it. Yes, you can now install your very own security beams to detect intrusion while you’re off out at the local bingo hall.

The kit contains two solar powered infrared emitters/sensors which can be sited up to 300 meters apart. Any time anything breaks that beam they’re immediately vaporized by a pulse beam cannon which fires from….ahh sorry wrong brochure.

Once the beam is broken by an intruder, an alarm is sounded to warn you to run, hide or go pick up the tree that’s just fallen into your driveway. The unit is sensitive, but it’s set so as to avoid triggering if a leaf or a bird breaks the beam, which is good news for your sanity we’re thinking. But if you will surround yourself with super villain lair gadgets, you’re going to have to put up with a few false alarms (like in thick fog we suspect). Priced at $175.99.
