Mimo Smart Baby Monitor – a better monitor for a better baby

Mimo in Use

Baby monitors are a big deal. They used to be just a one way radio that let you know when your baby woke up. Now they’re connected to the cloud and will show you video of your angel sleeping (or failing to sleep). The Mimo Smart Baby Monitor takes things to the next level by actually putting the monitor in your baby’s clothing.

The Mimo consists of four parts. Kimono (it’s not a onsie, it’s a cotton baby kimono), Turtle, Lilypad, and app. The kimono is lined with sensors that keep track of your baby’s breathing and movement. The Turtle, which attaches to the kimono, sends this information to the Lilypad which streams it to the app on your device. So you can keep real time updates on your baby’s sleeping and make sure that everything is on the up and up.

The app is even set up to share with all caregivers so both parents, grandparents and sitters can all use the system to help monitor baby while in their care. The biggest question here is how do you keep these things clean? Babies are known to be a mess. Well good news, the kimono is machine washable. The Mimo Smart Baby Monitor Starter Kit is $199.99.
