Got a car? Got a phone? Then you’ve just been handed a very cool way to keep your car clean with less hassle than ordering a pizza. As long as you’re a Londoner. The new Go Wash My Car service lets you order a hand car wash just by hitting a button on your smartphone.

Actually there’s a bit more to it than that. You do have to tell the service where your car is located, which you do by simply moving a marker over a map on the order page. Then add in the registration number, make and model, type of wash and desired time.

Once you’re done, a ‘vetted car wash Pro‘ will hightail it up to your vehicle and presumably give it the wash, and shine of its little life. Or something. Once they’ve finished the charge of £12 is deducted and you’re on your way. You can also book interior cleaning, but clearly you’ll need to be there to let them in, unless you’ve got some very clever door unlocking tech on your Maserati or whatever. Cute idea.
