Steren – this 2.5mm stereo cable will cost you a mere $49,999.97. An absolute bargain!

There are some things too mysterious to contemplate. Crop circles, the nature of consciousness and of course, most importantly, how on earth does the high end HiFi industry get away with charging absolutely ludicrous sums of money for what appear to be very ordinary bits of equipment? We believe it has something to do with aliens, but that’s as far as we’re willing to go in public.

Take this Steren 2.5mm stereo cable for instance. What other reason could there be for its insanely reasonable price of $49,999.97, other than to appease some invisible lizard like overlords? Or could it be to offer up a fun page on which reviewers can enjoy themselves? Whatever the reason, we’re hoping it stays up, and maybe one day someone may even buy one.

Oh and we notice there’s an alternative opportunist seller who’s pitched his version at $50,000 with free shipping. Awesome work, guys, that’ll pick up the stray buyers who’re worried why the original is so cheap.

  • Whoever set the price $50,000.00 for this stereo cable could stick it up his (place). I have no doubt that the cord is flexible enough to make it’s way very easily up and around his large intestine.

    • I wonder if anyone has actually bought one?
