If you’ve been on the internet for a while you’ve probably seen those cool GIFs that you can run your cursor over and they shift? Now you can make your own with the Fyuse app, the spatial photography app for your cell phone.
The effect of the photos is sort of like taking a picture from two slightly different angles and putting them together. Once a picture is captured, or recorded, you can tilt your phone to watch the picture change. It’s a different sort of way to capture a moment and share it.
The app basically turns your 2D picture into a sort of 2.5D photo. It is fairly easy to use. All you need to do is record your scene, the phone lets you know when you’re moving the wrong way so that you get a quality image to work from. The rest of the work is done in the background by your phone leaving you with your image. Fyuse is a free app for iOS systems. It is also available for Android but is in Beta.
