It’s not often you come across someone who takes your breath away with their artistry, but we have to confess an instant love affair with one Mr Jeff De Boer from Calgary in Canada. His website just bristles with gorgeous stuff, each one better than the other. For instance his Cat Armor collection is unbelievably cool.

And if cat protection is not quite your bag, why not saunter over to his Space Section, where you can feast your eyes on some amazing steampunk items he’s made, like this steampunk jet pack.

He’s also a dab hand at the larger type of art installation, although sadly almost all of his work is done via commission only, so ordinary mortals like you and I will not be able to own and display any of his works on our own living room tables. But we can dream, can’t we?

And no, he’s never put his armor on any cats, or mice for that matter, because he’s an artist, not a sadist. See?
