246 Nii Yon Lock – old fashioned lock with a modern key

246 Nii Yon Lock colors

Sometimes you need a lock for things. Even though it’s the future, there are still things that you need to put a padlock on. Instead of remembering to carry keys or a combination, why not pick up the 246 Nii Yon Lock? It’s a lock with a Bluetooth key.

On the surface it works like a regular lock. You simply attach it to something and close. Simple way to keep people out of something. It syncs up with an app on your iPhone or Android and allows you to unlock it, key free. The lock can be used for anything you would like. Doors, gates, desk drawers, lockers. Anything that you want to keep secret.

One downside of the lock over other locks is that it runs on a battery which is only good for about 180 days. Which means that if you can’t hide something away for a year and expect it to stay safe. It does come is a range of colors though. White, gray, black, blue, and maroon so you can accessorize it to match your life. The 246 Nii Yon Lock is $191.
