Vinylify – get your own personal record

Vinylfy samples

Records are making a comeback. You can find them tucked into the aisles even at chain music stores these days, like, no big deal. If you are dying to have your own personal sounds inscribed to vinyl, check Vinylify, the website that lets you make a personalized vinyl record.

First things first, you can’t use this to make an epic mix tape for anyone. The company is big on rights and unless you happen to somehow get permission from Prince to copy Purple Rain, it’s not happening. What you can do is have your personal songs or sounds put on a record and design your own sleeve.

The records are made on demand, you upload your files, create your cover based on one of their templates and then they ship your personal record to your door. All records are ten inches and fit ten minutes on each side for a total of 20 minutes per album. This isn’t a quick process, the may each one manually and it takes 3-4 weeks to arrive. Still, if you want to hear your music like it’s the 60s, you can order your own record for €50.
