This little kit lets you build your own solar powered car. It’s not quite big enough for you and your whole crew, or even just you but it is a simple and fun way to waste some time. And time you enjoyed wasting is not wasted. The kit is cardboard and requires no glue or scissors to put together. So, mess free!

The “engine” and panel parts fully charge in about five hours of full sunlight. From that, it will run for up to 20 minutes and go at a max speed of 2 km per hour. So, not exactly a speedster. What it lacks in speed however, you can make up in style. Get out your craft supplies because it’s cardboard hull is completely customizable. Draw some sick flames or sweet wizards. It’s up to you! The Autogami Solar Car is $15.19.
