Cashette. Now here’s weird/interesting, a spam control service where you let spammers bid to send you junk mail. You set the price, they pay when they send it to you. It’s got a strangely attractive feel to it.
- What is Cashette? Cashette is a spam-control service. You can use Cashette to stop spam and get paid if you receive advertising email.
- How does it work? You set a price for spam. You get paid for each “spam” you receive. If they don’t pay, you won’t receive spam.
- What about email from my friends? – 99% of that email is from people on your Approved List. Their mail goes directly to your Inbox.
- How high should I set the price? Any price above zero will stop spam. Cashette recommends a price between $0.01 and $0.05. A price of $0.00 disables spam control. Your price for spam is preset to $0.02 when you sign up for an account. You can change your price at any time.
Sounds like a good service. One can actually get paid while reading email.
