Livia – the wearable that stops monthly cramping

Livia in use

If you’re a female bodied person or know female bodied people then you’re probably aware that once a month once when you reach a certain age, you are treated to a menstrual cycle. For some women, this means super painful cramping. If this sounds like your life, the Livia is the wearable that wants to help end your suffering.

Livia alone

We’ve talked about pain stopping wearables before but those were for general chronic pain. The Livia is specifically for targeting the cramping that comes from menstruation. It sends pulses directly to those parts of your body that are causing you discomfort.

You stick the pads on you, they attach to the device and it sends a stream of pules to keep your nerves busy so they don’t have time to signal the pain. Pretty simple but a great option for people who are sensitive to medication or are looking for another solution besides just popping a couple of pills every few hours. It is currently being funded through Indiegogo, you can pick up one for $85.
