Magnetic Shoe Laces – turn every pair of shoes into slide ons

The Magnetic Shoe Laces compare

Confession: I haven’t actually tied my own shoelaces in like a year. I tied them up once when I got my sneakers and now I just slip my feet in and out. Hate tying up shoelaces. If you’re like me then good news, with the Magnetic Shoe Laces you never have to tie up your shoes again.

This little device lets you turn every shoe into a slide on shoe after “install” which is to say, after you tie them into your laces. You thread the top three laces through the magnets and they hold the shoe closed in lieu of traditional knots.

The Magnetic Shoe Laces alone

You have to click it closed but it holds them closed with 18 pounds of force and should be able to withstand the activity generated by walking, running and even sports. It’s marketed to help those with disabilities that make it a bit difficult to fiddle with knots but let’s be honest, tying up your shoes is lame. The Magnetic Shoe Laces are $39.95.
