ByFusion – the company making full sized LEGOs from waste material

We talk a lot about things to do with plastic because it was built in 1907 and has been destroying the world ever since but it also helped in many of our advancements so you have to take the good with the bad. That being said, we can do better with the waste. ByFusion wants to turn all that waste into building materials.

ByFusion is a modular building process that uses waste plastic as its material base. Basically it takes all those empty milk cartoons, shampoo bottles, and what have you, crushes them down and creates a cheap, sturdy material to build homes (or whatever you need) out of.

The building material is called RePlast and it is created by reforming used plastic supplies into bricks which are then put together to form whatever structure is required by the plan. The end result isn’t very pretty but it looks better than horribly polluted oceans. You can check out the product and it’s uses more through the website and back their Indigogo to get involved.
