This e-reader lets you do one thing, read books. That’s what it’s about, and that’s what it does. It has a 7.8” E-ink touchscreen and 8 GB of memory which will hold up to 6000 e-books. It also comes with a front light so that you can read even in the dark. There are a ton of different fonts and styles letting you choose whatever is easier on your eyes.

This reader supports 14 file formats but if you’re buying most of your e-books through Amazon, it does not support that format, so that’s something to consider. However, if you tend to borrow a lot of your books from libraries or get books from other online sources, then this is a great option since it’s optimized for that. The battery last for up to a month and it is waterproof for better vacations. The price is a bit above your average Kindle though, the Kobo Aura One is $229.99.
