Mint – do you need a mint? This device will let you know

Bad breath is something that we all can fall prey to. Nobody wants it, it’s so embarrassing. If you’re worried that your daily brushing regime isn’t really doing a good enough job to save you from yuck mouth, check out Mint the connected device to improve your dental hygiene.

This gadget is like a breathalyzer for onion breath. It samples the air from your mouth and measures the Volatile Sulfur Compounds in it which are produced by mouth bacteria. These bacteria can be indicative of poor dental hygiene and a sign that maybe you need to pop a mint.

You can view your results with the app that compiles the data in an easy to read fashion. You’ll get an oral report card so to speak which will keep you abreast on how your mouth is doing. Figure out if that fancy mouthwash is actually worth it or if cutting corners during brushing time is actually doing any harm in between trips to the dentist. Mint is $99.99.
