AquaFlame – add water for the perfect fake candle

aquaflame

Candles are awesome for mood but they are not great for safety reasons. I have at least three friends whose cats have set their tails on fire because they got too close. Also, cats are not great around open flame, make note. Anyway, the AquaFlame is the flame less candle that actually looks like a real candle.

Most blameless candles look like tiny, inefficient lights. They lack ambiance. This candle solves that problem by pairing the LED light with a bubbling fountain. The combination, set in a base of real wax, makes for a realistic looking candle.

You can use just the light on its own if you don’t feel like dealing with the fountain as well. The candle can be plugged into an outlet or powered by battery so that it can be easily moved around the house. It can also be controlled via remote in case you’re so relaxed from it’s tranquility that you can’t make it up out of your chair to turn it off. The AquaFlame is $53.95.
