Loupedeck – the hands on Lightroom tool

Being a good photographer is mostly about knowing how to take a good picture and also what elements make a “good” picture. Still, there’s a lot of post-production work too and thanks to modern technology we can do that part digitally. The Loupedeck is a device for photographers that will make their work flow that much more organic.

The Loupedeck is optimized to work with Lightroom to edit photographs and images for their best looks. Using dials and buttons (instead of keyboards and track pads) it will allow photographers to get down to cleaning up the nitty gritty details of their photographs.

This gadget is meant to replace the mouse, tablet, or other devices photo editors use to work with their images and provides a more comfortable and intuitive way to edit that allows photographers to keep their eyes right on their work from start to finish. It is plug and play and works with both Apple and PC systems. Currently it is being funded through Indiegogo but has exceeded its goal. You can reserve one for $229.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
