RetroEngine Sigma – the classic game machine that doubles as a living room computer

Retro gaming is gaining in popularity. Maybe it’s just nostalgia, maybe it’s the simplicity of the games themselves, I don’t know. Whatever it is though, it’s making a comeback. The RetroEngine Sigma hopes to hop onto that trend and bonus, it will also act as a living room computer for you.

This is a plug and play device that comes preloaded with everything you need to play your favorite games from two decades or more ago. It comes with 15 preinstalled, branded games from a variety of systems. You can also install your own games through the web or a micro SD card.

Works with your smartphone as a keyboard or as an additional controller so you don’t have to play alone. You can also use the system as a living room computer to watch movies and browse YouTube, if you don’t have a SmartTV which will do the same thing. This is being funded through Indigogo and has already far surpassed its goals. You can get your RetroEngine Sigma for $89 and it’s expected to ship in June.
