Paper Airplane Gun – the machine gun that spreads happiness, not bullets

Sometimes technology makes the world an even weirder and more wonderful place. This is one of those times. The YouTuber Papierfligerei used 3D printing to make a gun that folds and shoots paper airplanes and it is exactly what the world needs.

OK, so it’s not completely 3D printed, some of the parts were purchased, honestly, you can only do so much with printing. It was built with the purpose of firing off paper airplanes. That’s all it does, folds and shoots paper airplanes.

The man who made it is clearly very pleased with himself (and we’re very pleased with him to be honest), after all, he made two of these things. The original and the new, improved version. Because just the one wasn’t enough. Anyway, if you’re looking for a little bit of random joy in your life, check out this paper airplane shooting gun in the video below.

  • As someone who is in the industry, I can tell you a LOT of the rollers, gears and what not, came from the digital printer/photocopier business. Especially the paper loading area.

    • How neat! The paper loader does look like the type you find in photocopiers. I was wondering where you would get specialty parts for something like this but, duh! Of course that makes sense.
