The problem with apps like these focusing on “popular” news sites is that they tend to echo what has become the propaganda, divisive rhetoric of the MSM (Main Stream Media). We’re talking about manipulative news sources now focused on selling racism, sexism, embracing tribal politics and creating division instead of simply reporting factual news.
I have become fed up with the lies propagated by these “news” sources whose sole function is to create dissent based on hoaxes, lies, a couple of words taken out of context. All of this in order to drive their political leanings and the institutionalized divisions in society that drives their corruption.
There is an ongoing passive blackout reporting immigration issues especially in Europe, terrorism, surveillance states and so many of the serious realities facing our nations and the actions necessary to deal with them in an objective manner.
Recently Cameroon killed internet services because of ongoing strikes by teachers and lawyers based on language preferences. Not a single word in any of the main stream media sources. Popular news, mostly from Left-leaning news sources, have become a national disgrace. They can keep their divisive, lying rhetoric – I’ll look elsewhere.
I encourage everyone to look to multiple sources for their news. This is just one more tool for that purpose.
