This growing system is really a mini hydroponics set up meant for growing a single edible plant. There’s no soil and you don’t have to worry about watering this thing because it handles that for you. All you need to do is plant your seeds, add your water and nutrient solution, then plug it in and wait. It comes with chili seeds but there’s a variety of edible plants you can grow in this.

It’s designed to work even in places that don’t get much sun, as long as you’ve got an LED light to sit it under a few hours a day. This project is being Kickstarted and has reached funding goals. The early bird versions are expected to ship in July. You can get yours starting at around $60.
