Aipoly Vision – the phone app that “sees” for you

We can use technology in a variety of ways to help make the world more accessible. Aipoly Vision is the app that uses machine learning to identity everyday objects for people who have some trouble with their eyesight.

This app uses the camera to “see”. Simply point the phone camera at the thing you want to identify and it will speak out what it’s seeing. It can recognize a variety of items from table ware, to food, to even the faces of people.

This app was developed for people with eyesight issues but it can also be used by people who have brain injuries, for example, and lose words. There are many applications for this simple app. Unfortunately, it’s only available on iPhone right now but it may get an Android release at a later date. The app is free to use.
