Transit App – save money by catching the bus on vacation

We covered Transit two years ago but with the increasing graveyard that is the app store, we thought we would circle around and view it again. We’re happy to report that this little app is still in use and the last two years has added a ton of cities and support!

Transit maps public transportation in 125 cities around the world. It’s great at helping people plan urban adventures using the transportation that the city has to offer: Public. You can see schedules as well as get notifications when there are delays. Which is very useful when you’re trying to get somewhere on time.

The app also gives information for ride sharing options that are located around the city such as Uber, Lyft or even bike shares. You can reserve and pay for things through the app as well. It’s a great option for people who are trying to navigate the urban jungle which, as anyone who has done it knows, can be quite troublesome when trains refuse to show up. Transit app is free.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
