There are a million and one productivity hacks out there today, most of them involving a similar method of creating work time with structured breaks. 5217 is no different in that aspect but the cycle it uses is interesting.
Most productivity methods rely on the Pomodoro technique which generally consists of a 25-minute working time with either a five or ten-minute break. Lots of people like this. This app is different. Every work cycle is 52 minutes and every break is 17.
The goal is to cycle through these productivity timelines as many times as you can throughout the day. Your phone acts as a timer and a source of relaxation and encouragement. This is an interesting app especially for those that don’t necessarily need to be pushed to work, but reminded to stop for air now and then. If you’re interested in it, the app is $1.99 in the Play store.
