Who doesn’t love some good old-school Game Boy gaming? The Bittboy is a cheap, neat and mini GameBoy with 300 (!) games. – There’s a full list included at the end of this article.

For only $39.99 you’re getting yourself a cool gaming gadget for on the go. The Bittboy comes in many different colours, but what’s really impressive, are the games. With 300 playable games you can enjoy yourself for hours. One thing about the number of games is that three or four games are actually doubles and some games are pretty weird. Still, I’m sure you’ll find something that suits you!
There’s a power switch on the top and a volume slider on the right of the device. On the bottom there are two ports: One for TV output and a mini USB input for charging. Yes, you read that right. A TV output, but don’t get your hopes up on this one. The cable included is very short and the build quality is poor. Unless you have a better cable at home, you’ll have a hard time playing on a TV. But hey, it’s a handheld after all. The tunes on the Bittboy are cool, but they miss some bass in some of the games (for example Mario). Still it’s impressive what you get for only $39. The build quality is good, it’s a little smaller than a real Game Boy, but the buttons and the screen quality is more than acceptable. I’d say it’s a buy because you get a lot of games and a good device for the price! You can find the product here.
