The Splash Tunes Pro comes in at $40 and makes sure you can listen to your favourite songs while waking up in the shower. The speaker was bigger than I expected and has some weight to it. On the back you’ll find a big suction cup, which makes sure the speaker doesn’t slide or fall of your wall. The suction cup works very well.

But the main thing you’re interested in, is the sound quality. Well, it’s good! It’s not amazing like the Energy Sistem Music Box 7 I tested a couple of days ago, but it’s still very good. The bass isn’t so great however. Because this small thing doesn’t have a lot of bass, you don’t get a full experience. However, I have to admit I did not test it while showering and I assume that bass is not really important when you’re in the shower. The most important thing at that moment is the volume, because water makes a lot of noise when falling down.

While the bass is not amazing, the volume is great! So if you’re using this only for inside a shower (which you should), then the Splash Tunes Pro is a very good device! However, if you want to use it as a normal speaker for on the go, it’s not as great.
