Offline Only – this website only shares its secrets when the wi-fi is off

You’re always online. Everyone is these days but what if there was content you could only view offline? How strange would that be? Well one website wants you to log off by giving you content you can only access when you’re not plugged in.

So, the website itself is really just a warning about the dangers of always being online. This isn’t that strange, after all, most people are at least passingly familiar with the running dino game that pops up when your wi-fi drops. This is the same situation, only with a bit of warning about constant connection. Turn off your wi-fi and the site will run for you.

The designer put the library on Github so anyone can make their own. This is sort of a one hit wonder as it is but it would be really neat if there was changing content that you could access this way. Like a little collection that would help promote more time off wi-fi.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
