Project Internet chat.

Projectgizmo

Project Gizmo. OK listen up. It’s another day, and another Skype bashing free Internet telephone program. Yes? No? Who cares?  It springs fairy-like from Michael ‘MP3.COM’ Robertson’s brain, which could be good or bad depending on your religion.  Plus points –

  • SIP compatible, as opposed to Skype proprietary P2P.
  • Call recording built in.
  • Free voicemail (Skype charges for this).

Negative points? The Michael Robertson hype machine? More here. It’s Your Call, good people of earth. <applause>

With the click of a mouse, you’re connected to friends, family, and colleagues anywhere on earth. It’s just that simple. You talk clearly. For as long as you want. For free. And with inexpensive add-ons like CallIn and CallOut, you can talk to any telephone–mobile or landline–on the planet. Any phone? Yes.

  • Haven’t tried project gizmo yet, but the “nothing to install”-nature of
theswitchboard.ca is pretty hard to beat I think.
