Remember in the 90s when we had those amazing heat reactive shirts? You know, the ones that all ended up brownish purple after a few washes but it was great ride until then? Well relive that feeling with the Ice Knit, the sweater that changes colors when it reacts to cold.
The sweater comes in a few different color combinations and is made from two layers of fabric. The top layer is the thermosensitive one that can change from yellow to red, green to dark green, and light gray to dark gray. The second layer is wool to keep you warm regardless of the temperature.
These sweaters come in a pull over and zip up variety for more versatile wear. They probably won’t last forever but looks like they’ll settle into at least a solid, attractive color when the color shifting magic is eventually gone. Unfortunately the 2017 version of this throwback concept comes with a hefty price tag. One sweater will set you back $1,518.
