The Motherboard Guide to Not Getting Hacked – this free guide will help you stay safe online

Internet safety and security are important things to stay on top of. We can’t do anything about financial institutions or retailers being vulnerable to hackers but we can make sure we’re not leaking out personal information during or day to day lives. The Motherboard Guide To Not Getting Hacked is an easy to follow guide to becoming more secure online.

People who are around the internet are likely doing most of these things already but there are things that even I should be doing better (so many apps need updating). Most of us know by now not to open any strange attachments or to use adblock when stumbling through the net.

Still there was handy information such as using a VPN. Although the advice to use iPhones is probably going to upset our reader base, the loyal Android users that they are, the guide does lay out some information on how to stay safe when you’re on your non-Apple device as well. Check it out, it’s totally free and you might learn some new tricks.
