The Combat X-Sub glides through the water gracefully and almost silently as a 688 Los Angeles-class nuclear attack submarine and with true 3D movement. Until, that is, you send your X-Sub into a deep dive (using the super dive function button) and begin evasive manoeuvres to confuse and surprise your “enemy”! Fire a laser beam successfully at your enemy’s sub to “freeze” it for 20 seconds while your Combat X-Sub does victory circles around it or rams the defenceless sub while it is dead in the water.
