Keecker – this robot is made for partying

The future we all dream of involves robots in our home and although they’re coming, they look a little different than we imagined. Enter Keecker, the pint sized robot that will keep you entertained no matter where you go in your home (as long as it’s on the first floor).

This robot is a multimedia hub. It’s not about being productive, it’s about having a good time. That means that it includes a projector for watching all your favorite movies and TV as well the ability to stream music for your listening pleasure. This is the robot you buy to show off at parties, not to get your life in order.

It has a built-in battery and maps the home, sort of like your Roomba would, and is able to avoid obstacles. You can send it here and there by voice and when it needs a charge, will make it’s way back to the charging station. A cute little gadget and it can be yours for £2,500.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
