Trene Anti-Theft Monitoring Alarm – this little pyramid will keep your belongings safe

When you’re out and about you have to worry about the safety of your belongings. Not against everyone, of course, but there are dishonest people who are looking to make good on that five finger discount. Let them know to back off with the Trene Anti-Theft Monitoring Alarm, the little alarm for your personal belongings.

If you have to leave your stuff, like your laptop, when you’re in a coworking space or something, just put this little device on top of it. It syncs with your smart phone. If someone tries to move your laptop or bag, the alarm will start sounding, alerting those nearby that something is afoot. When you’re back with your phone, the alarm will stop automatically.

This is really only useful for areas where there are others around so that they can take action on your behalf since it’s unlikely that a thief will drop your stuff and run if there’s no one around to stop them. The downside is, if someone accidentally bumps it, it won’t know the difference and start sounding too. Still, an interesting concept that could save you from getting ripped off. You can get one for $74.
