The Trio Bike. Take one distinctly Scandinavian looking buggy/pram, add in a convertible bicycle which can be attached at will, and presto, travel comfort for all the family. Well except daddy, who presumably runs alongside like the good and faithful servant that he is. Around $2500.00.
Only two problems: One, it’s really ugly, unless carrying your kids in military-green garbage cans is your idea of beauty. Two, it’s insanely expensive – bike trailers are far cheaper and let you swap bikes. ;)
Ugly, yes, but just imagine how reassured every mother will feel while pedalling to school, that should a tsunami strike, her loved ones will float safely away from danger. Presumable there is a hidden compartment for emergency rations?
…and let’s not forget the built in kiddies’ wifi and 3G connectivity…
