Urban Gardner – make sure you plants stay watered

The hardest thing about growing any sort of plant life? Keeping it watered. Too much water, plant is dead, get busy and forget to water it for a week, the plant is dead. Thankfully technology is there for you and your plants. The Urban Gardner is a self watering plant box designed for people who don’t have a lot of space.

The design is pretty simple. There’s a water reservoir on the bottom. Just fill it up and let it go. You’ll have to top it off every now and then but it will take care of the bulk of the work. This way you can just focus on watching your green life spring up around you.

The planter can be used for decorative potted plants, herbs and even vegetables. Really, just about anything. It is good for both indoor and outdoor use and comes in a variety of sizes to fulfill your growing needs. The standard planter size is $149.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
