Samurai Avatar – 3D print yourself as a samurai

The internet is full of cool things that you can bring home into your real world life. If you’ve got a thing for Japan and have always wanted to be a samurai, good news! The Japanese airline All Nippon Airways has put out a tool where you can create your own Samurai Avatar (3D printer needed).

This cool little website helps you build a your own samurai avatar using a photo of yourself. You can pick out and customize your own armor and helmet for a more unique feel. When you’re done, you’ll need to send the file to your local 3D printer.

It’s a cool marketing ploy for the airline but to be honest, does it matter? Because who doesn’t want to see themselves as a samurai? The final product is about the size of an action figure. You can keep it on your desk and feel awesome. The website is free to use but printing may cost you.
