YearOfColour – what colors dominated your Insta this year

Instagram is the social media platform for pictures. That’s what it’s good at, it’s its whole thing. And what do pictures have? Color, usually. Now you can see what your year looked like in color with the YearOfColour web app, the app that turns your Insta feed into a color diagram.

Does this serve any real purpose? No. It is just a cool data visualization that you can share or keep to yourself, as you would. The more you post, the more it has to pull from. If you have a color/pattern planned feed, your final map is going to reflect that. The map consists of colored bubbles in different sizes.

You can run reports for the past year, month, or any time frame you want to. As with most of these things, you have to sign in with your account which may not be something everyone is cool with. If you are though, check out the web app.
