Poachers are a real problem for many animals. Despite conservation efforts, these people continue to hunt endangered species for monetary gain. Where man power is hard to come by, technology has an answer in the form of an AI Camera that can catch poachers in action.

These cameras, built with with this purpose in mind, will be able to identify human figures in real time, sending an alert out so that, hopefully, park rangers will be able to act before animals are killed and if not, they will have current information on the location and visual information to help catch them before they kill again.

The cameras are small, the size of a finger or so, and can be easily hid throughout the bush. They are also low power and can run for up to a year at a time making them a solid, long term solution. The hope is that knowing these cameras are out there will act as a deterrent to would be poachers.
