Compact Balcony Rain Sensor – keep your laundry dry with this sensor

There’s nothing quite like clothes hung on the line to dry. Also, it conserves energy because you’re not using your dryer which is good for the environment. The downside to that whole rain thing though. One good rain shower and all your hard laundry work is undone. Get notified when it’s about to pour by the Compact Balcony Rain Sensor.

This little sensor sits on your balcony and waits for rain. When the rain is detected, it will trigger an alarm to sound inside of the home. The alarm has both audio and visual components. This way you can hustle out and pull your laundry off of the line, hopefully before it’s too late.

A neat little device for those who live in parts of the world where the weather can go from nice to dreary during the rainy seasons. With this, you can comfortably watch TV or play games without having to worry that you’re going to come out to a rainstorm and soaked sheets. You can get one of these for $41.
