7 Ways To Make Your Pet Eco Friendly

We all love pets. They’re cute, cuddly and… um… expensive to run. But maybe they’re also a little bit greedy when it comes to our planet’s resources? So is there anything we can do to help them be more green? Maybe.

This interesting little article looks at different ways we can make our lovable companions more planet friendly. A lot of it is common sense, like trying to avoid using plastic baggies for your little pooch’s do-dums, but there’s also some thought provoking stuff like the pesticides in their food.

I personally like the one about composting their waste. This seems like a very sensible option, although you need to be careful to avoid putting the results on your vegetable garden unless you super heat it in thermophilic compost piles for at least a day.
