Nuclear Future – the hunt for clean energy may already be over

Nuclear power causes no emissions and generates energy but we’re not to keen on jumping on that bandwagon because despite its high points, reactor meltdowns are real and still a part of modern memory. Still, with the idea of it being a “clean” energy, is it possible that it will make a come back? Some people say yes.

Ignoring the very well publicized stories of reactors gone wrong and the issues and fear they have caused, there’s some really high points for turning to nuclear energy. The highest in our age of climate change being that it is clean, it doesn’t cause emissions while still generating a good deal of power.

Scientists want to turn over a new leaf for the technology. New reactor designs would be safer as well as add benefits in other arenas however, people are still wary of the power. Whether nuclear is the way to go or not remains to be seen.
