Library Extension – know right away what’s in your local stacks

Books are awesome but if you have a reading habit, they can get sort of pricey. Support your local library instead! The Library Extension app makes it easy to find out which libraries have the book you’re just dying to read available at a glance.

This extension works with Chrome and Firefox browsers. You don’t have to login or anything, just tell it which local libraries you would like it to keep track of and you’re off to the races. When you look at books online, it will automatically tell you if it’s in at your local spot.

This doesn’t mean that they’ll have the book (available or just in the collection at all) but this way you’ll know right away so you can make solid choices about if you want to click buy on that book. You can download the extension from the site.
