No More Clouds? – this piece examines that future

We don’t usually like to see clouds but as climate change starts ramping up, they might be one of the many things of the past. A World Without Clouds sounds like a science fiction short but it’s not, it’s a piece that looks at what our coming future may be.

Clouds do a lot for us. They keep it cool (which means without them, it will get a lot hotter). They are part of the water cycle and give us some protection from the sun. Without them, we’re looking at an even hotter planet.

The article is some heavy but fascinating reading on how and why this may be our future. It covers a great deal of time and research to arrive at its conclusions which is basically, that without making some changes, we’re in a lot of trouble. Hack out some time and check it out.

Donyae’s love for technology is based on a need to survive our future robotic overlords. Know thy enemy as you know yourself. But since even odds are on the zombie future, she has also learned how to prepare squirrel. You can find her on Facebook until the robots – or zombies – rise up.
