UK Needs More Sustainable Farming – the country has 10 years make changes

What we eat is a big factor in what’s happening with the climate. Farming and livestock are contributing to many negative aspects of the climate crisis. In order to get back on track, some changes need to be made. In the UK, these changes need to be drastic in order to be sustainable.

A new report that has come out that shows that in order for the food process in the UK to be sustainable, the goal for all things really, then drastic changes need to happen on how and what is being farmed and raised.

Farming and livestock cut into forested lands and contributed to deforestation. In order to stop this, other more sustainable crops and things like agroforestry where there isn’t such a strict delineation between crops and trees. These changes would be dramatic but in order for food production to continue, it looks like they’re needed.
