Travel More Green – check out these tips for your next vacation

Travel leads to emissions in all kinds of ways. The physical act of traveling, various disposable items. Just so much. But that doesn’t mean you should skip out on seeing the world, just do it in a more eco friendly way. This article outlines some ways you can travel while keeping your carbon footprint down.

Some of these tips we’ve talked about before. Picking an airline with better carbon output is a good start but there are other things you can do. Packing light is one. Another is to bring your own reusable items rather than picking up disposable ones.

While you’re exploring, eat and buy local. Don’t support imported goods just because they’re familiar. Instead eat what the people you’re around eat, shop where they shop. This will cut down on emissions. And besides, what are you visiting a different place for if not to experience it fully? Check out the articles for more tips and tricks.
