What is Driving an Electric Car Really Like? – check out this piece to get an idea

There are a lot of questions about the viability of electric cars. Cost, travel restrictions, accessibility, etc. Hardly anyone talks about just driving them but it turns out that if you’re used to traditional cars, an electric one is a bit different. Check out this article that gives a break down for what it’s like to drive an electric car.

Turns out that the most startling differences are braking, the lack of gears, and the overwhelming silence. That sounds like an existential comment. It’s not, electric cars are just really quiet in comparison to traditional vehicles.

Your mileage may vary (ha) on how you feel about those difference but in general, they’re probably not enough to stop anyone from successfully driving the car, once they get the hang of it. If you can’t behind the wheel of an electric car to test drive it, check out the article for a first person experience of what it’s really like.
